Surprise, a little snow

Suprise, A little snow fell. Its about 9 a.m. thursday morning and about 2 inches of snow has fallen in Grayling and Frederic so far. Schools are closed but I cant believe they closed for what has happened so far. I have talked to several people this morning as I left town yesterday. Here are my thoughts. We need a heck of alot of snow to be able to ride. Yesterday as I was walking around the building I could see rock hard frozen sled tracks from 2 sleds that must have rode thru last week during the mud bog. There tracks stood out big as day. Thats what the ground is like underneath. I am going to stick with my feeling that we need alot more of system snow than lake effect snow. I know we have to start somewhere with new snow.
