Sunny 19 degree Presidents Day morning

Its a sunny 19 degree Presidents day in downtown Frederic, about 11 a.m., been pretty quiet all morning around town. Still 7 trailers at Days Inn and 21 at the Ramada this morning and a whole bunch of sleds still at Fays Motel just north of town this morning too. For the third day in a row there was a ski doo still sitting in the swamp parking lot and I was wondering why it was still there but then all of a sudden in the past hour it was gone so I guess they just stored it there for a few days. Had a guy come in this morning that lost his prescription glasses up by starvation lake on the trail so I have his number if anyone found his glasses in the case. There were lots of riders all day sunday. My brother came up from kzoo and we went for a ride after I closed yesterday over to Lovells for dinner and then back to Frederic, pics below were taken out by the air to ground range, lots of snow out there. All in all it was a perfect weekend for riding, nice temps and for the first time in a long time I can say Awesome conditions. Now if we can just hold this snow. Last night I was riding along and thinking this is the first time in forever I rode along and didn’t see any snirt and then all of a sudden just cause I thought that there it was. Good reason for it though it was they were installing new power poles and they had been scraping thru there with dozers. Not for to far though. Thanks for checking in. Pete
