Saturday, morning calm and still

Its a calm and still saturday morning in Frederic at 27 degrees and no more new snow. Still hardly anyone around but 2 sleds were just in here and left and it was Jodi & Chase form Essex Canada. They said they have been having a good ride. Tony rode into here late yesterday afternoon and he had rode up to Wolverine to the Thirsty Sturgeon for lunch. I am still amazed at the lack of riders. Checked the motels this morning and only 1 trailer at the days inn and zero at the Ramada…… I also saw 2 sleds stopped at the trail crossing about 8 this morning over near Tinkers Junction and other than that zilch. I think total since last sunday when the snow was perfect I have only seen about ten sleds…….in any case I am still trying to get this place presentable for when we do get bombarded. I have a bunch of new shirts and hoodies getting done. Also I still have 2 shirts laying here that were paid for last winter for Kevin and Justin Kirkpatrick, so if you are out there stop in and get them. 2 more riders just in saying its great riding and that they cant believe either that they havent seen any sleds…….seems I just keep repeating the same thing……o.k. one more, just had a group of six pull in and heard sleds in the distance outside,,,now its starting up…….Thanks for checking in. Pete
