Wow, time flies way to fast

Wow, sorry I stink, time flies by way to fast, I cant believe the last update I did was on Sept 8. I even see the hit counter on my page made it by the 5 million mark without me even noting that and giving something away. Well true to form I was gone for almost 2 weeks in September as I drove to Nebraska and spent four days there then drove from there to Eugene Oregon and then met up with my friend from Portland who took me fishing out on the Pacific where I spent a good amount of time hanging over the side of the boat leaving my lunch for the sharks. We did stay at a nice campground cabin though while we were there, from there I flew on to Denver for a night with my daughter and then on to Springfield Missouri where I spent 2 days at Bass Pro and the Archery Hall of Fame. If you get a chance to go there be sure to see the Wonders of Wildlife that they have there. Very impressive. O.k. enough rambling, I have been slacking way to long. Many people have asked me about what is up with trail 7. From Waters north to Gaylord it is bull dozed along with large dirt berms on the side. From what I hear the contractor doing the job is on strike,. there has been no work on that trail in quite a while. I drove to gaylord on sunday and there are weeds and grass growing on it as no one has worked on it. Will it become a sled trail before winter, who knows.? In my opinion they have flattened it way to much and it will be more of a drag strip then a trail and then that equals people getting killed from going to fast. Time will tell what happens on that. They have started building the new Dollar General just south of my storage units so maybe that will be done before winter sets in. There was snow and sleet in the air today too in both Frederic and Grayling. The snow show in Novi is coming up in a few weeks and I should be there again this year with my Sticker King buddy. Well at least now you know I am still alive. Once the season kicks off I will be on here regular as usual. Thanks for checking in. Pete
