What if its New Years eve and nobody came to Frederic, Pretty hard to believe how dead it is, virtually no cars at the two big Motels in Grayling and zero trailers at Days Inn and 3 trailers at the Ramada. There have been a few sleds here into Sledheads this morning but still pretty dead for New Years Eve and we do have snow but I still have to say that I think the trails are poor, but that hasnt stopped riders all week long. No new snow overnight so what we have is getting used up. I did see the grayling groomer come thru town here yesterday so thats always a good sign but I really dont think they had much to pull. I think its almost time to upgrade my turbo 660 arctic cat, I have had that sled a long time thanks to my friend Bruce. I would like to get a newer sled maybe 3 to 5 years old, I am old so I like the comfort of a big sled and windshield, and a four stroke preferrably if you have something you are thinking about selling give me a call.If you happen to be in Frederic tonight at Midnite the Frederic Fire Department is doing a ball drop by the fire station at midnite along with a bonfire and fireworks too. Also they will have a watch party on facebook….Thats about all the big excitement for Frederic today. I will be open tommorow and maybe we will get some new snow for the new year.
