We’ve only just begun

We’ve only just begun winter…..about 4 inches of nice thick fresh snow here at Lake Margrethe this morning. I am going to have to get myself back into the habit of doing my daily update. I had to do new password this morning to get into this cause I havent been in here for so long. Summer flew by and I did very few updates. I still need to get my suspension back together for my turbo 660 so I can ride when we do get snow. The weather is supposed to warm back up this weekend so this snow will not last. Who know what this winter will really bring with the challenges we are all facing. I have had several calls from riders that are coming and that want to store their trailers at my storage facility. I still need to get the front of my shop ready including getting plastic panels up in there. I am not going to let anybody in there unless they have a mask on and havent let anyone in there since march. Luckily sledders wear a mask most of the time. The Swamp did open up last saturday the 14th but of course you know that was short lived but I talked to Jeff over there and he said they were very well received by the people that did make it in. The trail along old 27 just south of Horseshoe lake has a very dangerous spot in it and I have been watching it and am wondering what is going to happen there. They put a culvert in under old 27 a couple months ago and since then the area on the trail where the culvert is had flooded big time. Untill things freeze it is a big, deep, watery low spot so be aware if you get to ride up that way. I spent 12 days at my cabin in Wellston which is my longest stay ever there since I was 12 years old so that was a nice relaxing time. Also keep in mind I still buy clean used smokefree sled helmets, jackets and bibs if you have any extra things laying around.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone and be safe….Thanks for checking in. Pete
