They were right…..

They were right, finally we had about ten inches of nice thick snow which made for great riding. I started out thinnking I was going to ride down to my cabin in Wellston. When there is a big snow like we had you can run alot of roads on the way down. To bad the first one I came to that I wanted to take already had been scraped down and I figured if they are on it that fast that today coming back would be way worse so I hit the trails which were fantastic. I made it out thru Camp Grayling and  out to Moorestown. Actually I overshot Moorestown by about 6 miles but I have to say the Rosco Higgins trail was flat and smooth. Great riding and by the time I made it back home I was at about 70 miles. Gonna hit it again today but its supposed to get up to 40s so this will go away soon but I think we will skate thru today o.k. I went back up to Frederic to plow last night and there were alot of sleds in town at both Frederic Inn and the Swamp. This was a nice bonus snow and the weather man was right for a change. Pics below are all from Saturday, Someone told me they saw the Gaylord Groomer out on the trail yesterday.  I gotta get dressed and hit the trails. Thanks for checking in. Pete
