Spring is just around the corner

Spring is around the corner, proof is in the picture below. So its Wednesday and sunny and 32 in Frederic, I have officially thrown in the towel on this season. Still some little piles of snow around and in the woods and of course still more north and west but nothing rideable. On the other hand the u.p. is still hanging on. Town roads are dry so you need to go north of say Newberry or Seney as far as the towns go to get to where the rideable snow is. In Strongs you can ride around there but Paradise is a place to stay away from right now. Andy at the Clark Motel in Strongs has rode 4000 miles this season and that certainly beats my 150 that I got in. Also got a text last night from Big John who was down in Key West last night and ran into some Grayling guys in Sloppy Joes, so their pic is below. Big John gave up on his sled too and went down to Bike Week at Daytona and decided to keep heading as far south as you can go. Big John gets around as he has a place in Grayling but I have ran into him the past 2 years in Sturgis too. Thanks for checking in.
