Snowing Nice Big Flakes

Its Thursday morning about 10:30 and there are nice big Lake Effect flakes falling down in Frederic. We had about 2 to 3 inches of fluffy snow overnight. Still haven’t seen a sled out there and I think its still not time to ride. Weather forcast for the weekend is calling for 30s and no new snow with some sun. So figure that one out for yourself. There does seem to be some riding going on in the u.p. Seney had their groomer out and I have seen reports from Grand Marais of riders too. Basically north of M 28 and Wolf Inn in Newberry has had some riders in too. So the winter wait is on. I am still batting zero on trail permit sales for the season. On the brighter side I have had a several calls from anxious riders that want to leave their trailers at my storage lot so that may be some business for me.
