Nothing new

Nothing new since yesterday. No new snow , chance of lake effect today but no way could we get enough to help us out much. Its sunnier than I would like to see this morning , Friday at 9:15 and 31 degrees. Chubby Roger and I had a decent ride yesterday just around Frederic but while we weren’t digging dirt it was very icy and hard and you could feel every countour of the ground below your front suspension. It is so slick underneath that it was hard to get traction if you wanted to stop or even get going. My odometer after our ride said 28 miles but I might have really only rode 20 miles cause my track was spinning so much. But hey we did get a ride in anyways. 3 other sleds stopped by later in the afternoon and I did see a couple others across the street. Someone from Ohio called me and asked if they should come up and I told them they would have to want to ride pretty bad for what little we have. That’s the story in a nutshell. Pics below are from yesterday and the newest clear cut on trail 7 just south of Frederic. I hate seeing those areas like that as they just decimate the area. So many pretty areas along our trails have been cut off like that. Thanks for checking in. PeteIMG_1528 IMG_1530 IMG_1531 IMG_1532 IMG_1536
