Noon thirty Wednesday

Its noon thirty on wednesday in downtown Frederic, got in here late today no thanks to having a dentist appt this morning. Pretty calm and quite and 36 degrees out. Not really thrilled with the weather forcast for the rest of the week but hopefully it wont hurt us to much. A few sleds have been thru here and I think the trails are still pretty darn good. Our ride up to the bridge yesterday was pretty good but I can tell you that the two water holes just before Alanson are killer. I bent my spindle crossing and hitting the other side. I have done alot of water skipping in my days but that was a hard hitting hole which I knew wasnt good. ( of course that was after I crossed it…….  On up to Mackinaw City for pics and lunch at the Keyhole bar. 85 miles to Mackinaw by going thru Alanson and 84 miles coming back to Frederic thru Cheboygan…..so same distance either way. For the most part trails were good but there were ripply spots. Also stopped at the Sledview.com camera and was amazed by me standing there talking to the camera how many people responded, had calls from several people and emails along with a couple pics people sent. Even a text from someone in Canada and Mexico.  I need to get a camera up out front here like that. Brian in Ohio too chimed in. Thanks for checking in. Pete

This angle makes us look like giants in front of the Mackinac Bridge
