A lost cause of a winter, at least for all of us trolls below the Mackinaw Bridge. The u.p. has been rolling this season but all around us it has been horrible. LIke I said a couple weeks ago my first year open in Frederic I closed and went to the u.p. riding as it was all solid dirt around Frederic and not a flake of snow anywhere, that was in 96 or 97. At least the ground was white this year but just poor conditions. There were some sleds out and about on friday and saturday but still slim and good slide and carbide wearing out conditions. Will we get one storm this season yet or not? I cant believe the amount of snow downstate, Kzoo looks like Grayling and Frederic should look. The whole winter thing is backwards this year.
