Hard & Icy and its gonna be another week till we have a chance of getting new snow. Cold temps towards the end of next week with snow coming (we hope). Three sleds actually rode into here yesterday but I still stand with what I have been saying all season that conditions are poor. Pictures below are from this morning at the north end of frederic and where trail 7 crosses 612. While the woods are still nice and white the trails are mostly rocky, icy and snirty…….I kind of sound like a broken record repeating the same thing everyday. Even the u.p. is slim on conditions so we arent alone here in Frederic. For the first time in a few months the mountain man stopped in to see me. He has been getting chemo and radiation treatments but he is still hanging in there. He was wearing a new elk skin vest that he had made. I guess just for entertainment I will post my video I made earlier in the summer of my version of I ar a mountain man
Thanks for checking in. Pete
