16 degrees and light snow

16 and light snow out there this morning. Its supposed to be cold with a little snow the rest of the week. Its been quite a while since we have had inches of new snow and we really need it. Suprising amount of sleds around yesterday with same story, things are thin but in pretty good conditions for what we have. I had to make a midnight run to the airport in TC to pick up my daughter and I can tell you there is a ton more snow over there than there is around the Grayling, Frederic area. It was snowing steady with I would say a good 2 inches just while I was there. Snow piles are huge and the snow seemed like winter on the roads all the way to the hills west of grayling by the far parking lot by Dingmans. Then it shut off and roads were back to normal. It was quarter to 3 by the time we got back home. Yesterday there was sun and the road out front  here was actually starting to get wet even with the cold and windy temps. Still thanksfully for the cold temps we are keeping what we have. Its now about 10:0 a.m. and I haven’t seen or heard a sled yet today. Thanks for checking in. Pete
