Wow, Pete here coming at you from downtown Frederic, cant believe I havent updated here since May 29, its not cause I have been away. All is well, not sure if I look like Santa or the Mountain man as I havent shaved since March 12…..said I was going to do it when the covid is over but I guess thats gonna be a while. Today things are really firing up out in south dakota in Sturgis as the rally is still on but I am staying home this year as much as I would love to go to it. It will be interesting to see what happens after it is over. I hav been watching the camera and the crowds are starting, you can watch them at Sturgismotorcyclerally.com scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the webcams, the one from the hotel view shows the harley plaza and my friend Denny Bergers building behind it which is where I am usually at. The sign out front says Mr Als and Cycl Threads and is located at 1219 Main. Stop in and say hi to Denny and tell him I am whininig cause I am missing out this year. We did go out there back in June when there were no people there to do some work on his building. Its a different story now so I will just set back and watch. I did talk to Big John last nite who will get to have all the fun out there without me this year. He was riding his bike and at the east end of South Dakota last night……So thats about it, Only about 120 days till the trails open, but what will this winter be like,,,,,hey at least snowmobilers have been wearing masks all the time for years and now at the gas station instead of saying take your mask off you can keep it on.
