wow new snow….we have about 5 to 6 inches of new snow. I got here at 9 and 2 sleds thru the alley right when I got here.. One guy just in that rode up from houghton lake and 2 more sleds in for a trail permit and its 10:30 right now. Dont get to excited over this as the snow we got looks awsome its lake effect fluff. So the first few out there can get a ride in but you will be right down to the dirt. A guy just in came up from houghton lake and he said he was going thru to the gravel. Well I am gonna go for about an hour as soon as I post this as this wont last long. the guys are at it again after a 2 year break and on their way to Quebec for a 10 day saddle bag tour. I have so wished I could do that with them. Check out their site and be sure to read Frost Bytes which is the blog that Rod Campbell does and he does it very well. I am not sure how many are on the trip this year, usually about ten of them. They also have gps tracking so you can follow along and see where they area at. A truly first clap snowmobile trip of a lifetime. You can also see them on facebook at Darkside Adventures……
