OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — Michigan State Police are reminding the public that trespassing on railroad property is illegal and dangerous after a snowmobile driver crashed, causing a ski to lodge under the railroad tracks in Bagley Township
Troopers said the crash occurred near North Otsego Avenue.
The two snowmobile operators were arrested for OWI with additional charges of railroad trespassing and failing to report a snowmobile crash, troopers said.
The snowmobile was freed after several hours of work by a wrecker company, troopers said, and an inspection of the tracks will be completed by Lake State Railway for damage. Thanks for checking in.
