Its Thursday morning and nothing really new has happened. Sled traffic was still getting steadily busy yesterday in Frederic as it seems more people are coming north. I talked to many riders that said they have found good snow to ride in, mostly north and west of Frederic up towards lakes of the north. Still everyone having a good time despite the marginal conditions. On the bright side we have a winter storm warning from the weather man which gives us a little more hope. We are 100 percent ahead of last year as the drone picture below is from last year on December 28 and there isn’t a speck of snow in that picture. The other pictures are a stuck groomer in Kinross, (I think its more like sunk) and a group of sleds that stopped in yesterday. Here is a link to a story the DNR put out yesterday.
