This is how we dot it !!!!! or are supposed to start every season off. Today is the firs official day of trails being open for the 2019-20 riding season. Wow what a change, not a flake of snow anywhere yesterday and overnight a good thick 6 to 8 inches. Still no base out there but if you are one of the first out there today there is no doubt you could have a decent ride. What really surprises me is its now almost 11 am and I havent had even one phone call and havent seen a sled yet either. Looked at the trail crossing just north of the high school and no tracks there either. So lets see what today brings…….PIcs below are from out front of Sledheads this morning, the trail crossing just north of the high school and one pic from my friend in Marquette. She sent me the pic of here back porch, they had a foot overnight and she said its supposed to keep coming till four this afternoon. They are about 2 miles off of Lake Superior. The winter storm warning for our area by Frederic runs till 1 a.m. tonite…….So a big MO MO NAH CHEE NAH chant for more snow….I need to get my plow on my truck yet…….Thanks for checking in. Pete
