The big question?

And the big question is this the calm before the storm. Very quiet and calm 20 degrees out there this morning. It was down to 11 degrees during the night and at midnite I was on my way back to Frederic from my nice warm bed cause the gate to the storage lot was frozen to the hard snow and ice below it. After a little work I got it up and working again. I have always thought that it would be possible for that to happen. I need to keep salt on and under it as the ice build up is not my friend, I never saw a sled at all yesterday. Grayling groomer was out and its still all nice and white and the snow is very hard. Running my plow over it this morning is a rough ride so it would be like that on a sled too unless the groomer has been by to churn it up. Prediction is for 2 to 3 inches today in a system snow. It would be nice if it really happens. So pics below I just took, trail crossing looking both east and west where it crosses old 27 just north of the high school and one at Sledheads looking across my lot to the east. Lets hope it comes true. Thanks for checking in. Pete
