Its sunny and 30 degrees out this morning in downtown Frederic. I have to say I was totally shocked that I didnt see more sleds or riders yesterday. For those that were here and got to try it I am sure it was a decent ride. Only had 3 sleds into here and only saw 2 at Tinkers Junction when I went home yesterday afternoon. With the sun today I think it will settle alot and as long as we dont lose it all it will be the start of a good base. Doug & Janelle Haner from Midland were the first sleds in of the season and they parked out back at my park and ride and also a big thank you to Doug for helping me get my plow on my truck……so lets see what happens with this weeks weather and if it stays hope to see more riders next weekend. I sold more trail permits earlier this week when there was no snow then I did after the snow came……Thanks for checking in. Pete
