Sunny & 25 in Frederic this morning, a skiff of new fluffy white snow overnight but conditions still not great around here. I did not see any sleds on Thursday here but did see 5 on Wednesday. I do hear that there are still sleds running around Jordan valley to starvation lake and the settings. The fact that it has stayed pretty white out for almost a week now has at least made it look like winter. The U.P continues their banner season with still fresh snowfall and groomers running. Wolf Inn north of Newberry posted a pic yesterday of the great snowfall they had overnight and below here I will post Seneys report that came out in the past hour, its now 11:30 a.m. The pic below is from Wednesday from a couple from Coldwater who stop in every year but that was their first ride of this season. Thanks for checking in Pete Seney report below
Hello Everyone!
We groomed all of our trails last night.
Trail 43 is in best shape of the year, the snow is doing what the Groomers wanted all season, it has moisture now so it’s setting up perfectly!..
Trail 431 is in almost perfect condition, we got 4-6” of fresh snow on this section!
We have closed Trail 43 coming into town due to dirt and water holes so we are now grooming the side of Fox River Rd./CR 450 to the park and ride and then the rest of 43 to 8 is groomed. Also, we are now grooming along M77 so you can bypass the logging operation on Trail 431.
The time to ride is now, it’s March so you never know how much longer we got to ride. Hope to see you all
soon!
