Sunday at Noon

Its already sunday at noon in 24 degree downtown Frederic, only a skiff of new snow overnight and it did get down to 12 degrees overnight. Riders from yesterday pretty much had the same opinion that the trails were rough and got them beat up. I went up to Gaylord last night to meet some friends for dinner and saw the Gaylord groomer heading south on 7. I was up there a couple hours and on the way back saw the gaylord groomer northbound almost to Porterhouse. Also I was surprised to see a new restaurant opened up just south of Porterhouse. That place had just opened and they had done a really nice job of that place but it didnt make it thru covid and has been close a long time. It is now known as the The Iron Pig smokehouse and it was packed so I will have to check that out next week. Sled traffic in Frederic has been slow this weekend and I keep saying it every day that everyone says that snow is thinner towards frederic and better north and west. Lastly happy 68th birthday to me and 32nd birthday to my best present ever my daughter. Hard to believe that time flies by so fast that I can be this old. Enjoy your years as much as you can as they fly by fast. Thanks for checking in. Pete
