Saturday Sleds vs. Groomer Accident

It about noon on Sunday now. Have heard from 2 of the people involved in yesterdays accident with a Kalkaska groomer on the Cranberry trail. Lee has been coming into Sledheads for quite a few years with his family. Timing was perfect for this to happen as the groomer and sleds met perfectly with no advance warning. Sam was first one into the groomer bucket, he has 20 stitches, broke his FXR helmet and pick marks in his head and other people or sleds on top of him. Lee’s 2 sons both hit and one has a broken femur and the other had 3 vertabrae that I dont know if are broken or hurt, Lees wife also hit and I dont know her injuries. Lee was down the trail so he wasnt involved. There was no helicpoter called. All 4 sleds were totaled, another rider coming up on it rolled his sled. Luckily no one killed but injuries are no fun either. When I checked motel parking lots this morning the Days Inn only had one trailer there and it was Lees. They are from Ohio and he said they were going to go pick sleds up this morning. Only pic I have is one below. At least everyone is alive.
