riders are out

Riders are out already this morning. We really did slide down hill quite a bit yesterday and it was up to 41 degrees and very sunny which doesn’t help. We went to dinner in Gaylord last night and there was still many sleds up and down the trail. At least in the dark you don’t see the dirt that you may be hitting but I can stand outside here and here the skis hitting rocks and gravel. Regardless they were still out. I have seen worse than this before. The high temp for today has changed to 39 but it is sunny right now. Pic below is first sleds in here for today. The little girl was hoot when she was in here. I drove my daughter to the airport in TC this morning and on the way back there was a truck and trailer all lit up and unloading their sleds at 6:30 a.m.. to head out. That was the parking lot just west of Dingmans. I also decided to stop in at Shirleys for breakfast which was good as usual. I just don’t get out that way often at breakfast time. Checked the motels and 3 trailers at the Days Inn and only 2 at the Ramada but there were about 40 Jeeps there so that means they will be out and about today too. That only can mean the hummers will be here soon too. I have always wondered where these guys go and hope that they stay off the sled trails. I haven’t really ever heard of sleds running into them so I think they know where they should and shouldn’t be. Also saw Grayling Groomer go by here a few minutes ago, they are planning on to continue grooming at this time. DEATH number 3 has happened once again up near Alpena, a lady went thru the ice on long lake and 2 or other people also went in trying to save her. They all got out but she drowned.  STAY OFF THE LAKES.  Pictures below of 2 of my new shirts for this season if you can ever make it up here to ride. I have hoodies, T shirts and long sleeve T’s in both of the designs. Thanks for checking in and PLEASE RIDE SAFELY. PeteIMG_8036 IMG_8037 IMG_8038 IMG_8039
