Ready to Ride……

Well everyone is ready to ride, its 9:30 a.m. and 26 degrees out right now. I checked the motel parking lots this morning and found this pretty stranage, Zero trailers at the Days Inn and 38 sled trailers at the Ramada along with at least 30 more Jeep trailers and jeeps. The parking lot was jammed packed all the way around. STAY AWAY FROM THE RAILROAD TRACKS, THE STATE POLICE ARE ON THE TRAIN BETWEEN GRAYLING AND GAYLORD TODAY……..NOT JUST TODAY BUT EVERYDAY……… Lots of riders yesterday and been very busy so far this morning. Nice riding temp but its most likely not going to do the trails any good. Saw the grayling groomer out west of town on M 72 and then on M 93 so that’s always a plus. Pics below are the sunset in Frederic last night and of Mohawk John who showed up last night. Also Big John was in town last night so I met him over at the Swamp for a beer after I closed……Also make sure you have your trail permits before heading out, Had some riders in yesterday that were staying at the Ramada and rode over to the gas station across the street to get permits, they didn’t have any so they sent them to K mart, none at k mart so they sent them to shell station and by the time they got there they got stopped and their welcome from Grayling City Police was only 1 ticket instead of 4. Those guys have been riding here for 30 years and come in from Ohio, when people come in from out of state permits are hard to find a lot of times and I think its going to get worse next year. Its just a money grab for the city or county, pretty hard to fight something from a different state but its also hard to have the permit things lined up ahead of time. Thanks for checking in. Pete
