Quiet Thursday Morning

Its a quiet and calm thursday morning in Frederic at about 11 a.m. No new snow over night and all the snow we had yesterday was just a fluffy lake effect snow and if you look at the pic below that I took earlier this morning you can see we didnt get much. It is nice and white out there and I am sure this will bring riders out that cant wait any longer but I still say its poor conditions. Still not enough for groomers to do anything with. From watching the weather most of the snow is along the Lake Michigan shoreline. There are still reports of riding and groomers running in the u.p. There was one guy that rode into here yesterday but that was the only sled I saw or heard. So far nothing today……Also the National Weather Service radar is down for maintenance for the next 10 days so that effects the weather forcasts from the tv stations as thats where they get most of their info. Green Bay is the next radar like what they have up in Waters…..Keep your carbides crossed and do some snow chanting….Thanks for checking in. Pete
