Only ten more days till the trails are closed for the season. I don’t anticipate seeing to many sleds out there. There were two sleds in here yesterday but they were on a trailer and heading for the u.p. for their first and only ride of the season. They stopped to get trail permits. Hopefully they will let me know how their ride went, I think the snow is still holding north of Newberry and Seney and up closer to Grand Marais. I saw Newberry called it quits on taking their groomers thru the mud but by driving just a few miles north you can get past that stuff.
