One Month to Go

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there boys and girls, It is now only one month till the trails are officially open, the question is will it be a great winter for riding or not! We have already had snow on and off today along with a winter weather advisory for parts of the u.p. and snow around northern michigan for later tonight. The summer flew by and I just didnt get on here at all. Its amazing how fast that time went by. Novi snow show is coming up this weekend and I will be there working with my buddy Bob the sticker King…….be sure to stop by and say hi and even if you see me standing there be sure to ask Bob if he is Pete……. I went to the snow show in Epping, New Hampshire with him at the beginning of October, that is the east coast equivilant of the Haydays…..Grass Drags, water cross and many vendors. Weather was great that weekend and it was good to be at the east coast. Trail permits are up to $52 this year. Time will tell how this sled season comes out. I will have to get the hang of getting on here each day. I am pretty sure this makes my 25th season at Sledheads,,,,,,darn I am getting old and need to retire…….gonna be 65 this winter, I was about 39 or 40 when I started this place. I took my ski doo down to Spicers today to get my thumb warmer repaired. Both Spicers or Extreme would not take sleds in for repair until November 1. I had a pretty cold thumb a few times last winter. Thats about it for now. Thanks for checking in. Pete
