MO MO NAH CHEE CHEE NAH……delayed action. It appears that all the snow chanting from earlier this winter was delayed until this week. We had about another 4 to 6 inches in Frederic overnight. I would say that puts us close to 2 feet of snow this week. Schools were closed again today thruout northern Michigan. Parking has been an issue for trucks and trailers that have come into town. Just way to much snow to move. I plowed for 4 hours at my storage units yesterday and that was just enough to make a path around it. Had to do it again this morning but it wasn’t as deep as yesterdays snow. I went for a ride on two tracks and up to Waters yesterday for a little 25 mile jaunt and on the untouched two tracks there was about 18 inches of great powder. Saw many sleds riding into town and passing thru and had a few in here but I am trying to enjoy this bonus too. There is one guy parked out back heading out to ride this morning, I hope he can get out cause its deep back there and I haven’t even drove back there yet. Will it continue, who knows. I had some guys from Pennsylvania call that wanted to come to ride this weekend. I don’t know if the snow will last that long for that long of a drive from PA. I also saw that Patty from the Clark Motel in Strongs posted a bunch of pics to say winter is still going strong in in the u.p. Right now is the time to enjoy what we do have. Pics below are one from yesterday at the gas station and one from this morning along and one pic I don’t know who to give credit too but I thought it was a cool pic so thank you to whoever took that one. Thanks for checking in. Pete
