Today is the day we reflect on those who have served and are serving all of us. I have known many great veterans over the years and this year quite a few of those from Grayling that many of us knew have passed on. It was always nice to talk to them and hear their stories and reflections of their lives. So take time today to thank a vet. This morning at ten is the annual service at the cemetery which is always nice to attend.
Grayling is busy this weekend with everyone up to their cabins and the lake has been buzzing with boats along with atvs and side by sides rolling thru Frederic. Like I always say the only thing in Frederic after the snow is gone is horses and Harleys. Below is a pic of some horses that were patiently waiting for their riders as they ate at the Frederic Inn a couple days ago. I was happy to have a visit from Karla Moses and Mom Moses from the Museum of Moses stop by the other day as they were out cruising in their very cool old Caddy. I was in the shop and they pulled up and I thought the train was out front when she honked the horn. They sure put good and loud horns on those cars. It was good to see them and Mom Moses made me kind of jealous as she has just recently returned from a cruise from Fort Lauderdale. That is a cruise I would love to do, she left Fort Lauderdale and returned to the same port. Only a 113 days later and that was after they cruised all the way around the world. Now that’s what I call a cruise. Who knows maybe someday I could do that..
