Its going to be another great day

Its going to be another great day to ride. I saw several sleds out and about already and I was here at 8:30. Friday was very busy around Frederic and I think everybody is trying to get in their last trail ride. Its about 15 degrees out right now. Trailer counts were 3 at the Days Inn and 21 at the Ramada and at Fays Motel I saw the groomer was fired up and warming up with all the lights on when I went by this morning. We had a most excellent ride yesterday. Ohio Herb and his Side Kick Sam and I had a great ride. We started out from Frederic and headed in towards Grayling on trail 7 and took some side trails to get into town about 1 so I could be at the closing for Rick & Kellys cabin. That all went smoothly but they forgot the most important part, it seems that when Rick went to get the check for the place he forgot about going to get me coneys……so they got their place but I missed out. Gee whats more important. I met up with them last night at the Frederic Inn on their first sled ride from their new place into our big town here. Anyways after we headed out south thru Grayling we picked up Rob & Mo and rode many side trails on their 2000 acre private property which was very nice. Below you will see the pic of Wiley Coyote who was kind enough to pose for pics with us. From their we headed into Camp Grayling and found many more nice trails with still 1 to 2 feet of snow on them. From there on to Lake Margrethe or a couple laps around the lake which was way to much fun. All in all a great 70 miles of running. I have to say that even if the trails go to pieces this coming up week I would guess there will still be at least a couple weeks of off trail riding in the woods. We will just have to take it one day at a time. Thanks for checking in. Pete
