It figures, a day late but a nice 8 to 10 inches and its still coming. Fluffy Lake Effect snow and a lot of it. Riders have been steady in since I got here at nine and I wish I was out there with them. I have been trying to get this done for the past couple hours now and its up to 11:45, everyone that has been in is excited about all the snow. A guy that was just in that has been in Munising said its better here than it was there…I like to hear that. Another guy in that lost a panel off his apex so if anyone finds that drop it off to me. Another reader sent me a message to asking me to say the the NASF, that’s the North American Snowmobile festival is in Cadillac in 2 weeks. Sunday was a very busy day in Frederic and the pic below is of the swamp on a sunday. I haven’t seen it like that in a long time. The other picture was out front here this morning just trying to show the snowing and blowing and there is a lot of that. Well its still fun to be out in this blustery weather I just want to remind everyone to be safe, as I know of 3 deaths in the past 5 days on sled accidents. I was also saddened to learn last night of my next door neighbor here at Sledheads, Vicki passed away. She has only lived there a year and I always enjoyed talking to her over the fence. Life is to short for to many people. Its been a few weeks since I talked to her but at least I will remember her smiling and laughing with me. Thanks for checking in. Pete
