Hockey Game this weekend, in my parking lot. Its icy as can be out there and would make a great hockey rink. Suprisingly there is still a lot of snow out there. It was up to 40 yesterday and currently 34 degrees at 11:30 Thursday morning here in Frederic. I saw probably 20 sleds yesterday and some of them came here into the shop. I haven’t seen or heard any sleds yet today. While it certainly isn’t great out there I have still seen way worse conditions to this, however the news last night said 49 for sunday. Not what we want. Time to start snow chanting again. One thing I have been wondering as several people have asked me about him is the Mountain Man has not been spotted in a few months. Usually he stops by but it makes me wonder where he went to. Pics today are from yesterday. Some of guys getting their last picture by the WTF sign before I took it down. I have had several emails and notes about people that liked it. I have had a sign of one type or another over there for 20 years. As luck would have it when I took the sign down the sign under it says to stay away from the tracks. I made that sign in about 2003 so you can see that people riding by the tracks has been an ongoing battle. Today is my daughter Melissa’s 24th birthday. She was my birthday present in 1993 and was the best present a dad could ask for, to bad then I was 36 and now that makes me 60. Darn that went by fast.
