High Noon, downtown Frederic on tuesday

Its Tuesday afternoon and high noon in sunny downtown Frederic and 50 degrees. The outlook for snow is still dismal. There are still a lot of areas with snow in them but all that does is make you wish for more. I certainly haven’t seen a winter like this one before….I just got back here to Frederic as my daughter Haley and I left early sunday morning and flew into LaGuardia for a couple days in NYC . No snow there either. We had a good time at Chinese New Years parade & bike riding around the city, across the Brooklyn Bridge, thru Central Park, to Sponge Bob the Musical, Strawberry Fields in Central Park which was very nice and we finished last night off with being at the Jimmy Fallon show. Haley had tickets for the show from her birthday.  Left Newark this morning at 5 and made it back to Grayling by 10:30. Fastest return ever. So of course I couldn’t stay away from Frederic any longer because I figured I would have a long line of customers outside. Well I was wrong about that as there was no line and no recent sled tracks either. So todays pics are a few from our trip. Please send snow……Thanks for checking in. Pete
