Happy New Year? No not really, A week ago we were buried in to much snow. By friday nite it was pretty much gone. On saturday I was shocked to see a line of 13 sleds riding thru Frederic and it was solid dirt all the way. There was absolutely no snow. During the nite on saturday we did get about 1 inch of thick snow but still poor conditions. I didnt bother to open up as it was so bad, but when I came up here about 3 there were still five sleds getting gas at the corner station. Went to Gaylord today and trail of course looks terrible and I cant see us getting any rideable snow for this coming up weekend…….O.k. I guess you get the picture…. Thanks goodness I have sold a few houses lately. Thats good for my Century 21 sales…….the wait is on. I wish I had better news. Had a good time at the Swamp for New years eve…….Thanks for checking in and time for way more snow chants. Pete
