Happy New Year. and a Happy New Year it is as we have an inch or two of new snow from overnight. That is great to have but it looks like after the weekend temps are going into the 30s again so who knows what will happen after that. Right now riders are out having a pretty good time. Trail permits have been a popular item too. It seems the riders come in waves, either there is nobody in here or there is a small line. Still no big lines but if the snow stays they will come. I forgot to mention the other day that the Alabama gang rode in for their first trip of the season. They had called last week wondering if it was worth coming up. I told them at the time that it didn’t look like we were going to get snow but they lucked out and had a good ride. I am sure after last nights football game they are floating high today too….There are 4 trucks and trailers parked out back and it seems good to hear sleds around outside. Lets hope for more snow and get this new year going. Thanks for checking in. Pete
