Finally……this late in the year we had a below zero nite, I had minus 5 at my house and I saw minus 9 in grayling on my way here this morning. Nice and cold and crunchy but still no new snow. Friday was pretty deadsville here in Frederic and very few people in. A different story this morning as its now noon and this is the first chance I have had to do this. I still say marginal conditions here but the cold is a help. Of course all the good snow is supposed to be south of Big Rapids and all south of Michigan……pics below are a group that was just in here a little bit ago. Trailer counts were 5 at Days Inn and 11 at the Ramada but Ramada was also full of jeeps which I did not count there trailers and that was for sure the busiest Ramada has been all winter. I have had flash backs the past couple days of the first year I was open here in 97 and valentines weekend I closed and went riding in the u.p. because there was zero snow here in Frederic. I hope this year isnt a repeat. Also I listed a lakefront home on Lake Margrethe.
