Its a nice 25 degrees in Frederic this morning and I even had frost on the windows of my truck. It looks like we are going to get hit good starting tonight and tommorow and they are saying 8 to 12 inches. It looks good on the weather maps and I believe it enough that I am going to put my plow on today. I am going to paste what Joe Charlevoix the tv 7 and 4 weatherman posted last night……
Hey Northern Michigan… I remember saying Friday, March 2nd, 2012 similar things which came to fruition that night. Like that time- SIGNIFICANT winter storm/potential blizzard Thursday/Thursday night. Mainly M-55 north to Straits with 8-12″ snow… But locally 16″ possible with extensive wind/drifting. I cancelled my plans already and am leaving U.P. a day early. You should take this storm seriously in Northern Lower MI and Straits Area.
Let get the snow chanting in high gear…..Thanks for checking in. Pete
