12 days left to this wonderful winter wonderland of snow……Yes I am still alive, I ran away for a week and enjoyed the joys of California……I certainly didnt miss to much here. Its pretty much a mud bog right now. This certainly has to be the most boring of my more than 25 years in this place…..at least the U.P. had a good season. Usually I sell about 400 trail permits during the season, this season I sold 113…….pretty weak. So maybe we will get blasted with a winter storm, my sled is still ready to hit it and as I have said before if we do get a storm its only good for those of us that are here as it will only last one day…..Also yesterday on my way up here just past the sled trail north of the high school I was lucky enough to hit a deer, that thing appeared out of no where and I lucked out, I was driving my plow truck and it only dented my bumper a little and didnt hit my grill or radiator……the deer wasnt so lucky…Thanks for checking in.
