What to Do?

I dont know what I am going to do when we finally do get snow and I have to start getting here at 8 or 9 in the morning. The beagle and I just rolled into frederic about an hour ago. Almost everyday this week I never made it here till noon or 1 after doing things I needed to do in town.(grayling). At least when I woke up this morning there was a little bit of snow on the ground and truck but its mostly gone already. The weather last night said we should be getting a few inches by monday so maybe that will be the start. I actually had customers in here already today too. Maybe I would have more business if I was at least open…I have always said that this place is like a faucet. When there is no snow I might as well be closed but when there is snow the people come running in like an open faucet. I will admit I do things a little untradtional in the business world but it works well in this case. Going back to when I bought this building in 1995 my whole theory was to be open in the winter when there was snow (and back then there was alot of it) and then be closed the rest of the year and just use this as my office and warehouse. Now that I have let the cat out of the bag on my business model I guess it makes sense that I am such a fan of spam……which if we dont get any snow soon we will be eating more of it. So far I have sold 6 trail permits this season, 3 of them being today. Remember if you come in for them that I need to have cash only on trail permits. All that money goes to MSA for the permits (except for their generous donation of $1 to the people who sell the tickets and have to do the paperwork). A big thank you to Bob & Stephanie Young who picked up the rest of my neon for the building in flint and delivered to me here this morning. Now if I can just get it hung up and fired up. Thanks for checking in. Pete
