Way more white than black out there

Been trying to update this morning and seem to be having computer or connection issues. There are big flakes in the air right now. All the trail crossing I looked at this morning on the way here are pretty white with it still looking like alot of snow out there. Trails are still officially open thru this coming sunday. As far as grooming though I know grayling has stopped but gaylord had run down here to frederic and east of gaylord yesterday and I talked to someone who had seen the jordan valley groomer yesterday. I am sure off trail will stay good thru the weekend as I think we have just way to much snow to lose it all by this coming weekend. So basically you know what the trails are about out there without me going on and on about them. Here is a link to a video Tim Scarpino sent me from the accident with Darrins wife in it from last weekend. This was on the blue bear pretty close to the pipeline and just before starvation lake road. You do not want to have this happend for you or anyone with you. Darrin was by here yesterday and had just gone to pick up the wrecked sled which he had in his truck. Here is the video link  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0NxFZ5hOFI     Traffic in frederic was pretty slow on sunday and just when I was about to leave a trailer pulled in with some Indiana guys that were on their way back from the u.p. I took a pic of the side of their trailer and am putting it below here because as you will see I think it fits Bad Ass Mikes Snow Bunny,,,,,and speaking of Mike I am glad to hear he is doing well after having 2 stints put in his heart a couple weeks ago…He needs to get ready for riding next season. I also had a call yesterday from Jim in Pennsylvania who had been here riding a few weeks ago and he called to say that they used to go to canada but they loved the job the AVSA did on the trails here and that they have found a new place to call their home base for riding. I did tell him though that this had been an unusual winter with the fact that we really had snow for a change. Lets hope we can do it 2 years in a row. Thanks for checking in. Pete  Well of course now I cant get the pics to load so I am going to post this while I can before something else goes wrong……
