Today is the Day

Today is the day to ride because if the weatherman is right it we are getting a half inch of rain tomorrow. The only good thing is that he has been wrong before. Ron Lecronier from Lake Margrethe stopped in a while ago to tease me and tell me he was heading for the bridge and I am stuck here. I am going to try to get out for a short ride somewhere today. Trails have been very good including trail number 4 but I have a feeling that is going to change. Trailer counts this morning were 2 at the Days Inn and 5 at the Ramada in grayling. It will be interesting to see what the counts are tomorrow morning. Cathy and I went to dinner at the Frederic Inn last night and one of the grayling groomer drivers was in there having dinner too. He said things looked darn good out there and his groomer parked out front looked good too. Also a shout out to my friend SAK down in north Carolina, your stuff is on the way today… I haven’t heard or seen any of the Alabama boys nor have I seen Sandy the Snow Bunny and her bodyguard Bad Ass Mike, maybe they will be showing up. I did have a note from the Ohio Pooper a couple weeks ago telling me he was coming up and from the looks of my yard I thought he had been here but then I figured out it was really the beagle that had impersonated the O.P. Just when things are looking pretty good out there we have to get knocked back a little by mother nature. Snow Chants should be in order, MO MO NAH CHEE CHEE NAH>……Thanks for checking in. Pete
