There is still great riding in dah U.P. eh…..

There is still great riding in dah U.P. eh…..and one of my favorite places to do it is in Seney along with Don and Diane at the Fox River Motel. Trails are always incredible there and if you still want to ride that’s where I would go. I only wish I could go up there this year. Below here I am going to put Dianes Report she put out today. Also I am putting the newsletter from Graylings Ausable Valley Snowomobile Association. Then I am going to stick with the Mackinaw theme with another one of Larrys Great Pictures from yesterday of US CG Neah Bay passing in front of the Grand Hotel.

Well we’ve been waiting for a winter like this.  It’s march and I don’t have say spring conditions. We got 3″ of snow Monday night.  Don and I went riding yesterday.  We put on 174 miles.  What an awesome day.  We went down the haywire trail and looped around to trail 7 stopping at Jack Pine and the Buckhorn along the way.  Schoolcraft county trails were awesome.  We were even the first on freshly… groomed in some parts.  The only negative part of the day was the 7 miles north of Shingleton, imagine that.  The railroad grade on trail 8 was a little choppy but we met the Seney groomer on the way home so we are anxious to to get back out there again this morning.  I think today we are headed to Chatham.  March is the best time for us to catch up on our riding because it isn’t so busy here at the motel.  We haven’t gotten the snow predicted out of this storm yet but it is snowing pretty good this morning.  See you here where friends and trails meet.
