Sunny Sunday Morning

Its a sunny sunday morning and about 30 degrees here near the shores of still partially ice covered Lake Margrethe. The end of riding is much closer today. There were still some die hards out yesterday and the pics below will prove they were die hards. I had to go up by Starvation Lake yesterday to show a property and figured as long as I was up that way I would run up to the HIde Away and see if there were any sleds there. At the property we were at there was still 2 foot deep snow in the yard so it will be a while till that melts off but anything that has been plowed is all dirt. 2 of the guys that I talked to that were leaving on their sleds said they were having a good time out on the trails but you can see what they had to deal with in the pics. Who knows maybe there is one more storm coming. It certainly has been a great April for riding. The Polaris in the first pic with the 155 inch track and 2.5 paddles could use a bit more snow below it.  I still need to put the video together that I promised last week. It wont be a long one but you wont want to miss it. Thanks for checking in. Pete
