Sunny & 16 in Frederic

Sunny & 16 in Frederic, and it was below zero when I fired up my sled to ride to work this morning from home. Grayling has not groomed so the trail was a little ripply but not horrible. On the other hand yesterdays ride of 110 miles was superb. Gaylord, Kalkaska & Jordan Valley groomers are all out and grooming. I rode every inch of every trail yesterday which usually I take short cuts if I can. It was just way to good to cut corners. We rode past Waters and took 4 to Lakes of the North, to Starvation Lake, to the far parking lot on 72 and then to the Blue Buck for an outside picnic lunch. From there down the Cranberry Lake trail all the way to Fletcher road. Then we had to turn around to come back, I had a 4:30 closing to attend so I cheated and stopped home and got a ride back to the shop for my truck, that’s why I finished my ride off this morning. Total of 125 miles of great riding. Had two guys in yesterday morning that were from Indy that had drove up from their Lake City cabin where they said the groomer had been out there. They unloaded here and said they were heading for the bridge. When I got back here last night they were just returning from the bridge run and they said it was a good run. Today will still be very good around here but temps are supposed to head up again tomorrow. PIcs below are from our ride yesterday and a couple pics on my ride here this morning. Thanks for checking in. PeteIMG_3945
