Sunday Noon thirty

Its sunday at Noon thirty in snowy downtown Frederic at 17 degrees. We had about 3 or 4 inches of new snow overnight. Only a few sleds out and about this morning which isn’t unusual for super bowl sunday. Roads are slick and people start heading home early. Surprise, I had a guy come in with a new arctic cat 1100 yesterday who had slid thru a corner and hit a tree and bent his a arms. Riders all agree on the very slick trails story. My old riding buddy Jimmy Jones came in last night along with his son and they had rode from Lake Margrethe all the way up to the bridge and reported it to be pretty darn good. I also was surprised at the amount of sleds at the gas station last night as I came out from dinner at the Frederic Inn. So things might finally start turning around. I still haven’t plowed yet but I am getting closer to getting it out. Mo & Rob just rode up here from Grayling and they said conditions got better as they got closer to Frederic. I am even thinking about getting my sled out for a ride too…….Also a shout out and thank you to the guy that bought me a beer in Paddle Hard last night….never got a chance to tell him that or get his name…That’s about it for today. Thanks for checking in. Pics below from yesterday and last night. Pete IMG_0997[1] IMG_1007[1]
