Snowy Saturday Morning in Frederic but………..

Its a snowy Saturday morning in Frederic but don’t get to excited. Its 19 degrees at 7 a.m. here in Sledheads. We have about 8 to 10 inches of snow total in the past couple of days. While it looks great and deep it honestly is a worthless snow. Its all lake effect and the fact that we had no base or anything frozen if you were to ride in this you get one pass and are then down to the dirt. I did see three sleds at the Frederic Inn yesterday afternoon and I stopped in and talked to those guys. They had rode from Mancelona to Starvation Lake and over to here. They said the same thing I just said that they were going down to the dirt and the snow was deeper to the west, but……they were happy to be riding. I checked the motels just for the heck of it on the way here this morning and there was one rig which looked pretty cool at the Ramada Inn with 2 sleds on the top of the box of a chevy truck. I would expect that a few riders will still try to get out there and try it today and that’s good because I do sell carbides and slides. On the other hand I certainly wasn’t ready for this today as I have had a trip planned with my daughter for today and tomorrow. The pics below are from the 3 at the Frederic Inn yesterday and the truck at the Ramada this morning. Thanks for checking in and keep up the snow chants but chant for system snow cause we need it.
