Slowly getting there

Its slowly getting there. I finally got my plow truck out yesterday after it sitting in one spot for 3 weeks. Surprisingly about 8 to  12 inches of snow around it. It is all a fluffy lake effect snow just like all the snow we have had this so called season. But none the less I am moving it all. Riders are starting to  report some decent conditions out there but keep in mind its still icy underneath. Grayling to Frederic is rideable but thin and of course getting north and west of Frederic it gets better. Hearing of more groomers coming out of hibernation and getting on the trails. Grayling groomers still on hold till towards this weekend as long as we keep what we have. Temps are supposed to stay nice and cold so that’s a plus. I am thinking I am going to ride home today which will add to the whole 20 miles that I have rode this season. The http://www.darksideadventures.com/new-blog/  crew have finished up their ride for this year and are working their way back to the USA. They have had less trouble free rides over the year but that’s the whole point of it is having an incredible and memorable adventure which they really went over the top on it this year. Rod does such a great job covering the whole story after the long days on the trails. I only wish someday I could experience it with them. I didn’t take any pics around Frederic yesterday so here is a trail in Quebec that I borrowed from the darkside blog….Thanks for checking in. Pete
