Slowly but surely

Slowy but surely it looks like winter is coming back, another couple inches of lake effect overnight at least brightens everything up. I have talked to several riders who have said that riding was better than they expected with intermittent bad spots. 2 guys were just in that had rode up to the bridge yesterday, they said it was thin in spots but overall a good ride. If it can stay below freezing that would be a great help. Many good reports on the 7 trail north to Gaylord and 47 trail to lovells. Other parts are thin and not touched. One thing I haven’t talked about at all this season is the fact that with almost 2 weeks of no snow here that really put the hurt on the income here and put me in line at the grocery store to buy Spam for my family so we could eat. Well a big thank you to Jake & Nancy Faust who stopped in yesterday and dropped me off a fresh can of Spam. Now we can eat. So thank goodness for Spam and Century 21 too as luckily I have sold 2 houses in the past week to help subsidize this place when its slow…..I did take a 12 mile sled ride around the area yesterday and it felt good to be out there. Pics below are from yesterday around Frederic. Thanks for checking in. PeteIMG_3562
